Multilingual website

A multilingual website that ranks in every language

A multilingual site is not a translated site. It is URLs, tags and content designed so that each language is found by the right people.

What's included

  • i18n architecture: language prefixes, translated URLs, accessible language switcher
  • Correct hreflang and canonical tags on every page, sitemap per language
  • Localised metadata, structured data and social sharing images
  • Translation or adaptation of content (EN, FR, ES; other languages with proofreading)
  • Date, number and currency formats; language-specific typography
  • Checking tools: missing-key detection, link consistency

How it works

  1. 1. Audit or scoping

Languages, markets, existing content, keywords per language.

  2. 2. Architecture

URL structure, redirect rules, hreflang plan.

  3. 3. Development

Implementation or migration, translation, automated content checks.

  4. 4. Indexing

Sitemaps, Search Console per language, ranking monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need one domain per language?

Rarely. Directories (/en, /fr, /es) on a single domain are simpler to manage and concentrate authority. One domain per country makes sense for genuinely distinct brands or offers.

Machine or human translation?

Both, provided it is proofread. I use translation tools to move fast, then have a native speaker review the languages I don't master. On my own applications this process sustains twelve languages.
