Context

An encyclopaedia of the Tarot de Marseille — 22 major arcana, minor arcana, spreads, articles — designed for an international audience, with an “understand rather than predict” approach.

The challenge

Sustaining over a thousand pages in twelve languages without sacrificing speed or SEO, and grafting on a members' area with monthly and yearly subscriptions plus one-off purchases.

What I did

Typed JSON content architecture, static generation of every page, translated URLs and slugs per language, per-language sitemaps and automated internal linking. Members' area with NextAuth and Prisma, Stripe payments (subscriptions, one-off purchases, webhooks), VAT by country.

Technical highlights

• 12 languages with translated slugs and complete hreflang across 1,000+ pages
• Static generation + ISR: every page served from the CDN
