Online ordering for an Asian restaurant: Next.js, Stripe and a Java Spring Boot back end
Context
An Asian takeaway restaurant that wanted its own online ordering, without platform commissions, in French, English and Dutch.
The challenge
A complete ordering journey in a few screens from a smartphone, a menu managed by the restaurant owner, reliable payments and readable kitchen tickets.
What I did
Next.js front end with next-intl and Stripe Elements, Java Spring Boot back end exposing the orders and menu API, Prisma on the front for session data, QR codes for menu access, transactional emails via Resend.
